Happy new year everyone! (it’s not too late is it? It’s still January…) Hope everyone had a good Christmas break, we sure did. We have starting to get back into the swing of things here in the office where we are discussing progression and future following completion of WWS: Dodgeball.
This is a short and sweet blog post this week as we get back into the swing of things so unfortunately won’t have a video update to go with it. We will be back-on-track next week though so expect our usual weekly blog/video combo.
Roller Castle has had some good feedback following the Christmas update and we are looking forward to creating the next theme for you to enjoy.
WWS: Dodgeball is still progressing and we are churning out assets for it as quick as a lego factory! Visual style is still in conversation with a mixture of trial and error in the Unreal Engine 4 Post processing and material editor.
A web page describing the game is in the works and we will share it on our social networks when this is available to read. We are looking forward to making more details of the project public so we can hear what you think 🙂
Next week we will be placing new assets into the level, testing their placement for visual and player preference. This will also allow us to start seeing what we can do for art style through textures and post processing.
In the next blog post, we will show off some of the assets created and how they look in-game. If you haven’t already, check out our Roller Castle Christmas update before we take away the theme in the coming weeks.
